Migraine Headache Symptoms

Migraine Headache symptoms are very difficult to mention in some words as they are so different in case of different person. Some people see bright flashing lights, some don't. Some with migraine get a headache or pain in the forehead, some don't! Some migraine sufferers even don’t experience any pain!

So, if you've got a pain in your head, how can you know whether it is a symptom of Migraine or not?
There are some typical symptoms that can give you a clue to know whether you have a migraine. So, let’s go through the article to know about it.

The International Headache Society has mentioned some symptoms to recognize migraine.
Migraine is defined as headaches usually ranging between 4 and 72 hours (untreated) including at least two of these primary symptoms:
•one-sided pain
•throbbing pain
•moderate to severe pain that interrupts your normal life
•made worse by physical activity or makes you avoid activity

and including at least one of these secondary symptoms:
•nausea/vomiting
•Sensitive to light and sound
•A pale facial color
• Cold hands or cold feet

There are three questions to be asked:
Has a headache limited your activities for a day or more in the last three months?
•Are you nauseated or sick to your stomach when you have a headache?
•Does light bother you when you have a headache?

If your answer is "Yes" for at least two of them, you are quiet surely having migraine and immediately go to the doctor to have a check.

Recently a new even simpler diagnostic tool was developed, known as ID Migraine. It was found to be a very reliable way to detect migraine. ID Migraine is meant to be a tool used by doctors, and it is hoped to solve the problem of many migraines being undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.

It is better if you visit a physician for a check up. You may have online consultations at different medical websites. Some addresses are given here at the post 'Professional Physicians'. I hope they can help you.

If someone experiences any one of the primary or and one of the secondary symptoms of Migraine, he must immediately go to doctor for a check-up. Delay in check up and medication does nothing but makes the problem severe.
